I’m going to keep this one short. Well maybe. We’ll see.
Not because the ongoing Israeli/Hamas war doesn’t deserve an in-depth and lengthy piece of commentary, because of course it does. But by now, I suspect most of you have already read quite a bit of that commentary already, so why recycle?
However, out of everything I’ve read about those horrific events of October 7, there’s one thread that just keeps bugging me. Throughout the war, caused by the Hamas murder of approximately 1,200 Israelis and resulting in the subsequent killing of more than 25,000 Palestinians, a grossly disproportionate response that far outweighs the cause, there have been a number of stories about how much support President Biden is losing due to his loyal support of Israel in the face of what many view as atrocious war crimes.
