With the election of a new Speaker of the House of Representatives, the far-right MAGA is attempting to complete its complete takeover of the American government. Rep. Mike Johnson (R-LA) is a Christofascist who believes that the United States should be a Christian theocracy and personally worked against the 2021 transfer of presidential power to the duly elected Joe Biden.
While many MAGA Republicans and their supporters still believe the "Big Lie" that Donald Trump actually won the 2020 presidential election, others are making plans for a return to a Trump administration or a similar far-right president in 2025.
In 2017, the Heritage Foundation launched Project 2025, which states that it is outlining a comprehensive policy vision and agenda for the United States, with the goal of advancing conservative principles and values in the year 2025 and beyond.
