𝐘𝐨𝐮 𝐂𝐚𝐧 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐊𝐧𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐞𝐝𝐠𝐞! 𝐈 𝐃𝐢𝐝.

Over my professional life, I have had three separate but related careers: educator, sales leader, and entrepreneur/solopreneur. By now, I am used to successfully and completely changing my own career trajectory.  When I started teaching in 1971, I thought that I would be an educator for the rest of my life, but by 1988, I decided to go into corporate and direct sales full-time. In 2008, I put the experiences and skills from my first two careers together and started my first solo business, a writing and editing company. In less than two years, I had clients in 13 countries.  In 2012, I started my second business, an independent publishing company, because I edited manuscripts for many of my clients who then did not know how to self-publish them. I eventually published over 300 eBooks and print books for my clients. In 2014, I started my third business, a branding and marketing company that focused on the type of creative and solo professionals I found through working in my first two companies. I worked with almost 90 clients, helping them to successfully learn to brand and market their creative and solo endeavors. In 2017, I started a weekly 30-minute podcast, interviewing solopreneurs and entrepreneurs locally and from all over the world, publishing over 200 episodes. In the fall of 2020, I decided it was time to retire, and I closed all three of my businesses and put my podcast on hiatus, but people kept asking me about my services. So finally in the spring of 2021, I decided to put all of my skills, experiences, and expertise into building my 4th company, partnering with my husband, and expanding our brand, “TeamOwens313 LCC.” This time, I decided to offer my various services for creative and solo professionals, including writing, podcasting, branding, marketing, and educating, onto one digital platform. That way, I could reach and work with many more people at once who wanted to build, grow, and maintain companies the way I did. There are several online platforms available, but after much research, I decided to build our company on the Kajabi platform.
