The Choice: No Kings Day and the Declaration of Independence
The October 18, 2025 Rallies are merely a repeat of the original #NoKingsDay on July 4, 1776.

The very first #NoKingsDay was on July 4, 1776.
On Saturday, October 18, 2025, millions of regular Americans will again be marching in the second #NoKingsDay Rallies. There are currently almost 2,800 marches planned nationwide.
Thousands of people from other countries are also planning #NoKingsDay marches to support those in the United States.
Trump and the Republicans are quite aware of the numbers for this day that was scheduled about three months ago, and they are frightened.
Some of the recent “dangerous” protestors in Portland, Oregon.
They are trying to describe the rallies as anti-American and saying that the participants are part of Hamas, part of Antifa, are communists and Marxists, etc. They are also calling the participants “terrorists.” Trump is actually saying that only “a few” people are coming to the rallies. All of these statements are total lies, of course.

In California, Defense Secretary (it is NOT the “Department of War”) Pete Hegseth and VP JD Vance are planning a military parade on Saturday that will shut down the I-5 highway so that missiles can be shot into Camp Pendleton, supposedly as a show of strength. Of course, the actual purpose is to shut down the primary highway in California to make it harder for people to get to the #NoKingsDay rallies in that state.
The original #NoKings Day: July 4, 1776!
In actuality, #NoKingsDay is just what it says: No Kings in the United States. The original #NoKingsDay was July 4, 1776, when the Declaration of Independence was signed. The British colonies here were declaring their independence from the King, and listed several reasons why:
He has obstructed the Administration of Justice…
He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices…
He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people, and eat out their substance.
He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.
For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world.
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent.
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury…
For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offenses.
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments.
He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us…
Do these sound familiar? This is exactly what Donald Trump and his people are doing right now. Their ultimate goal is to destroy the United States of America and make Donald Trump a true king and dictator, just like King George.
Of course, Donald Trump has no idea what the Declaration of Independence is, as shown in this video. Note especially the look on the face of the former ABC News journalist, Terry Moran. His look of disbelief is exactly how the rest of us feel.

The #NoKingsDay peaceful rallies nationwide and in a dozen other countries on Saturday, October 18, 2025, are just a very much larger repeat of the original #NoKingsDay, July 4, 1776. That is the day that the Declaration of Independence was signed, and the day that this country began as a nation.
If Republicans think that being Antifa, meaning ANTI-FASCIST, and protesting against a man who would be king through tyrannical methods, as guaranteed by the FIRST AMENDMENT, is “terrorism,” then they are the ones showing their true ANTI-AMERICAN colors.
Period. Full stop.
